Today, the Spanish national football team defeated Saudi Arabia convincingly 4:0 (3:0) in the second round of Group X of the World Cup, which was played on Sunday in Atlanta, USA.
In the 10th minute of the game, Lamin Yamal scored his first goal of his World Cup career after assisting Mikel Ojarzabal, who later became a double scorer. In the 21st minute, he scored the first goal with an assist from Aymeric Laporte, and in the 24th minute, Dani Olmo assisted him for the second goal.
In the 49th minute, Spain took a 4-0 lead when Mark Cucurella shot, Saudi goalkeeper Al Owais made a save, but the ball bounced off Saudi defender Al Tambakti and ended up in the net.
Ferran Torres also shook the net of Saudi Arabia at the very end of the match, but his goal was canceled due to offside.
Spain now leads the group with four points, while Uruguay, Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia have one point each. The second match of the second round in this group is scheduled for midnight, when Uruguay and Cape Verde meet in Miami, USA.
