According to them, the operation was carried out in two phases by drones in order to disrupt the transport routes supported by the Russian forces in the south of Ukraine. Footage of the attack has also been published, for which “Kyiv Post” states that it cannot independently confirm the time or location of the incident.

The news was initially published on the official profile of the SSO on social networks with a short and unequivocal message: “We are sorry, but we have an official and urgent message: the railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal in Crimea no longer exists.”

Later, in a more detailed statement, it was clarified that the attack near the village of Rozdolne was carried out by units of SSO “Medium Strike” in cooperation with members of the Resistance Movement.

    A two-stage operation

According to the press release, the first attack was carried out yesterday in the early hours of the morning with precision drone strikes. In the attack, the railway line was destroyed, and a part of the bridge was demolished. The Resistance then reported that Russian forces had brought repair equipment to the scene, prompting the second step of the operation.

This morning, SSO drones reportedly attacked the site again, targeting repair equipment and remaining parts of the damaged bridge.

Interruption of a key logistics line

The SSO emphasizes that the destroyed bridge represented a “strategic military-logistic artery” for the Russian forces. It was used to transport cargo, resources and military equipment from Russia via Crimea to southern Ukraine, as well as for supplies within the peninsula itself.

“Special operations forces continue to disrupt enemy military logistics, reducing their offensive and defensive capabilities,” the statement concluded.

Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “The Hungarian” Brovdi, said that more than 60 Russian military targets in the occupied territories were hit in the night strikes. He explained that medium-range drones were used, which can hit targets at distances of 30 to 200 kilometers.

According to him, among the targets hit in Crimea were three Orion reconnaissance-strike drones, the Nebo-U radar station, the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft system, the S-300 launch pad and the ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun. Brovdi also reported attacks on fuel tanks at the Kerch thermal power plant, a gas distribution station in Simferopol and the “West Crimea” substation.

In addition to the peninsula, Ukrainian forces have also targeted Russian logistics in other occupied territories. A fuel tank in Gorlivka, a drone pilot training ground near Debaltsevo in the Donetsk region, and military logistics vehicles in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions were hit.

During the night there were reports of explosions and fires all over Crimea. The “Crimean Wind Telegram” channel reported on the fires at the oil terminal in the port of Kavkaz and at the South railway station in Kerch, citing satellite fire detection data. Another channel, “Supernova+”, also reported on the explosions, stating that the target was the oil products storage complex TES-Terminal.
