In comments to NewsMaker, Grosu said Russia is promoting a model that leads to poverty, migration and political gridlock. He also stressed that Chisinau will not allow external interference in the internal affairs of the country and called on the residents of Gagauzia to abandon illusions about external support and financing.
- Grosu addressed Comrat: “The law is not a subject of bargaining”
Speaker of the Parliament Igor Grosu said that Chisinau does not intend to change the project on holding elections in the autonomy, despite its rejection by the Executive Committee in Comrat. According to Grosu, the rules of the electoral process are the same for the entire country and cannot be the subject of political bargaining. The speaker noted that the central authorities will find a solution. At the same time, he accused some representatives of Comrat of agreeing with the proposed decisions in Chisinau, and after returning to the autonomy they become “different people.”
