Henry died Sunday after 42 days hospitalized at the National Rehabilitation Institute of Mexico City.
The child suffered burns of more than 80% of his body and injuries to his respiratory tract on February 22.

That night he was accompanying his father in a 3B chain store located on Cuitláhuac Avenue, San Miguel Xico III neighborhood, when several subjects threw Molotov cocktails and sprayed fuel to start a fire.
The attack occurred in the midst of riots registered in different parts of the country after the shooting of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantesalias “El Mencho”leader of Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico He arrested four people for these events.

Among those linked to the process are Miguel Ángel “N”, accused of supplying the fuel; Luis Antonio “N”, known as “El Negro”; Edgar “N”, nicknamed “Peluso”, and a 17-year-old minor, the latter’s brother.
The authorities announced that they will request the reclassification of the crimes after the death of Henry, who was initially listed as collateral victim.
Neighbors in the area expressed dismay at the death of the minor, but also annoyance because, although there are detainees, they believe that justice has not been served. They demanded the maximum penalty for those responsible.
Carolina Maldonado, Henry’s mother, sent a message of gratitude that Christian, the boy’s uncle, read during the farewell:

“I want to thank each of you with all my heart for your prayers, for your messages and for all the support you have given us at this time. I really have no words to express it. Thank you for being attentive to my son and for continuing to support us with your prayers and support. May God always bless you and multiply everything you give us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My son’s departure hurts me a lot, but he has stopped suffering, only he knew what he felt,” he wrote.
Christian, the boy’s uncle, personally too asked for justice for Henry.
He asked media representatives to respect his privacy at this time.
The child is expected to be buried this Tuesday in a cemetery in the eastern part of the Valley of Mexico.
