The Monegasque Valentin Vacherot made history and became the first player from the Principality to reach the semifinals of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, after winning in three sets against the Australian Alex de Miñaur, fifth seed, (6-4, 3-6 and 6-3) and will be the rival of the current champion and world number one, the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz.
