The delegation, led by the Deputy Director of Development of Improved Seeds of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Shermohamed Aminov, visited various cotton fields and provided necessary technical recommendations and advice to the farmers in order to increase the quality and production of the crops.
Officials of the company said that the purpose of this trip is to share agricultural experiences, provide technical advice and increase the capacity of farmers in the field of cotton production.
According to Afghan officials, this year the land under cotton cultivation in the north-eastern region of the country has increased by about 20 percent and the said company is trying to expand and strengthen cotton cultivation and production by taking advantage of domestic and international experiences.
Kunduz Spencer Emirati Company distributes improved cotton seeds to the farmers of the North-Eastern provinces of the country and implements extensive programs for the cultivation of cotton, increasing domestic production and supporting farmers.
