UTC executive gets award – Trinidad Guardian

The Unit Trust Cor­po­ra­tion’s chief in­vest­ment of­fi­cer Crys­tal Ro­driguez-Greaves has re­ceived the Vi­sion­ary Award at the CFA (Char­tered Fi­nan­cial An­a­lyst) So­ci­ety Trinidad and To­ba­go (CFASTT) 25th An­niver­sary Gala Din­ner last week Sat­ur­day.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tion, Ro­driguez-Greaves was recog­nised for her out­stand­ing lead­er­ship and ser­vice as pres­i­dent of CFA So­ci­ety Trinidad and To­ba­go from 2022 to 2025.

The re­lease said, “Dur­ing her tenure, the So­ci­ety achieved a his­toric mile­stone by earn­ing the Most Out­stand­ing So­ci­ety Award for the Amer­i­c­as Re­gion in 2025, el­e­vat­ing Trinidad and To­ba­go’s pro­file with­in the glob­al CFA net­work.”

“The gala was an ab­solute mile­stone as we cel­e­brat­ed the 25th An­niver­sary of CFA So­ci­ety Trinidad and To­ba­go un­der the theme ‘Sil­ver Mile­stone, Gold Stan­dard,’” she said.

“Serv­ing on the board’s or­gan­is­ing com­mit­tee for this gala was a true priv­i­lege. As mem­ber­ship chair, noth­ing was more re­ward­ing than see­ing the in­cred­i­ble turnout and the vi­brant en­er­gy of our mem­bers re­con­nect­ing, net­work­ing, and cel­e­brat­ing to­geth­er.”

As the lo­cal mem­ber so­ci­ety of CFA In­sti­tute, CFASTT has played an im­por­tant role in ad­vanc­ing glob­al best prac­tices, eth­i­cal stan­dards, and pro­fes­sion­al de­vel­op­ment with­in Trinidad and To­ba­go’s fi­nan­cial ser­vices in­dus­try. Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from UTC joined in­dus­try peers and part­ners at the gala, re­in­forc­ing the Cor­po­ra­tion’s com­mit­ment to col­lab­o­ra­tion, in­no­va­tion, and the de­vel­op­ment of a re­silient and for­ward-look­ing fi­nan­cial sec­tor.

UTC said in the re­lease that sup­port­ing or­gan­i­sa­tions such as CFASTT aligns close­ly with UTC’s mis­sion to fos­ter in­vestor con­fi­dence while con­tribut­ing to na­tion­al eco­nom­ic de­vel­op­ment.

The re­lease said, “Through its wider Cor­po­rate So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­i­ty (CSR) and stake­hold­er en­gage­ment ini­tia­tives, UTC con­tin­ues to sup­port pro­grammes and part­ner­ships that pro­mote fi­nan­cial lit­er­a­cy, pro­fes­sion­al de­vel­op­ment, youth em­pow­er­ment, and in­sti­tu­tion­al ex­cel­lence across Trinidad and To­ba­go.”
