A small plane crashed in the area of Medulin in Croatian Istria today. Four people died in the accident, according to Croatian media.
The Istrian police confirmed that at 11:25 a.m. they received information about the crash of a small plane in the area of Campanož. It is an uninhabited area near the Medulin airport. Police Public Relations Representative Alen Pačić confirmed that several people died in the accident, the portal reports Index. “At the moment, all competent services are on the scene, from emergency medical assistance and firefighters to the police,” he explained.
According to unofficial information provided by the Croatian media, four people died, two people are still missing. It is said that they are foreign citizens who were flying from Germany to Pula when the plane crashed for an as yet unknown reason and broke in half when it hit the ground.
