Battambang authorities reported that a US citizen has died at a hotel in the city.
Authorities said that the man’s body was found at 2.00pm on Monday at the Paris Hotel, in Bhai Maye village, Svay Por commune, Battambang city.
The victim was identified as Thomas Adair Tyler, 59 year old. The authorities stated that the police’s forensic experts and a medical team from the provincial referral hospital are investigating the cause.
Authorities added that the victim’s body has been taken to Wat Steung Meanchey in Phnom Penh after approval from Tut Vinit, the provincial court’s deputy prosecutor and notified the US Embassy to contact his relatives.
