UPDATES
WATER & ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES
Residents in Atkinson and the surrounding areas are being supplied with drinking water. Additional deliveries are scheduled, and bulk water will be provided as soon as roads are cleared. Food, tarpaulins and other essential supplies will also be distributed to affected households.
COMMUNICATIONS
Internet service remains disrupted in some communities. To improve communication, Starlink units will be installed at key centres to allow residents to stay connected.
ROAD ACCESS
Major landslides have limited movement in parts of the East and North East. Heavy equipment is clearing roads, and access to Atkinson, Antrizzle and the Kalinago Territory is expected to be restored shortly. Temporary access solutions are being put in place at the Calixte bridge to restore access to Dix Pas, Tranto, Good Hope, San Sauveur and Petite Soufriere.
SHELTER & SOCIAL SUPPORT
Temporary shelter is available for displaced residents of Atkinson. Government is providing food, care packages and psychosocial support, while also working on longer-term housing solutions for those who lost homes or suffered severe damage.

Several schools in the East and North-East remain closed due to safety concerns.
• Concord Primary
• Atkinson Primary
• Salybia Primary
• Sineku Primary
• Castle Bruce Primary
• Lighthouse Christian Academy

Updates will be provided as conditions improve and schools are cleared for reopening.
FARMERS & LIVELIHOODS
Access to farms has been disrupted in some areas. Farmers are advised that assessments are ongoing and support will be provided once access is restored and damage is verified.
COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP
National Employment Programme (NEP) teams are already engaged in clearing and clean-up efforts in communities, including Rosalie, Riviere Cyrique, Castle Bruce and Marigot, with additional teams to be deployed as access improves.
The Government continues to focus on a responsive and people-centred recovery effort. Every effort is being made to respond quickly and effectively.
The public will be kept informed as the response efforts continue.
