Turkmenistan is interested in expanding cooperation with China in high technology, including the creation of artificial intelligence research centers and the implementation of joint projects. This was stated by Turkmenistan’s Minister of Communications, Hajymyrat Hudaygulyev, speaking at the Turkmen-Chinese forum in Ashgabat.
“The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan prioritizes expanding cooperation with China in the field of high technology. The combination of China’s advanced experience and Turkmenistan’s strategic development directions opens up broad opportunities for implementing joint projects,” the minister said.
According to him, artificial intelligence is a strategic infrastructure focus for Turkmenistan. It is being developed as a key tool for improving management efficiency, personalizing services, and opening up new economic opportunities.
Hudaygulyev noted that the country is implementing large-scale projects in neural network technologies aimed at creating intelligent systems and developing self-learning algorithms. These developments are seen as the foundation for effective solutions in public administration, medicine, education, and other key economic sectors.
The Minister emphasized Turkmenistan’s readiness to jointly establish research centers in the field of artificial intelligence with China, implement projects in the field of neural network technologies, introduce Internet of Things solutions and “smart city” concepts, and develop cooperation in the field of quantum technologies.
“This cooperation will ensure not only economic benefits but also long-term development through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and technology,” concluded Hudaygulyev.
