Road traffic accidents across the country on April 14, 2026—recorded between 2:00 p.m. on April 13 and 2:00 p.m. on April 14—totaled six incidents, resulting in five deaths and six injuries, according to a National Police report.
Report released by the Department of Traffic Police and Public Order shows that speeding was the leading cause, accounting for three accidents, which resulted in three deaths, two serious injuries, and one minor injury.
Failure to yield the right of way caused two accidents, leading to one death, two serious injuries, and one minor injury, while one accident was attributed to failure to keep to the right.
