In Romania, not far from the border with Ukraine, the wreckage of another drone was found, after fragments of another drone were found in the area of the city of Galati. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation.

Verbatim from the Ministry of Defense of Romania: “On Saturday, April 25, the Ministry of National Defense received information that the wreckage of a drone was discovered in the area of a farm near the village of Vekeren in Tulcea county.”

Details: The area was cordoned off by Border Police officers, and a joint team consisting of experts from the Ministry of National Defense and the Romanian Intelligence Service went to the scene to clarify the circumstances and remove the wreckage for examination.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania summoned the Russian ambassador on Saturday due to the incident with the downing of a drone near the city of Galati.
Literally the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania: “By order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Tsoi, the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bucharest will be summoned today to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the downing last night in the area of the city of Galati of a Russian drone, which was used to attack the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.”
What preceded: Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Romania was informed about detection of drone fragmentswhich fell in the morning of April 25 in a residential area in the municipality of Galati and caused property damage. The remains of the drone found later were neutralized by a team of specialists from the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of the Interior and the Romanian Intelligence Service.
Romania’s emergency service said it had temporarily evacuated people who were near the drone detected in Galața. Romanian President Nikushor Dan said that this is the first time that a Russian drone has damaged property in Romania.
The wreckage of the drones was found after Russia carried out another massive air attack on Ukraine on the night of April 25, in particular in the area of the Romanian-Ukrainian border.
