    The results of school Olympiads in chemistry, physics, computer science, and mathematics were announced in Turkmenistan


    The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction summarized the results of subject Olympiads among graduating students of secondary schools in Turkmenistan.

    The qualifying round was held online, while the finals were held in person: competition finalists from the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary velayats were invited to specially designated educational institutions in the velayat centers.

    According to the results of the final stage, 24 schoolchildren (6 students in each of the four subject areas) took prize places, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

    In mathematics, Shiraly Meredov, a student from School No. 12 in Yoloten etrap, Mary velayat, won first place. Second place went to Bilbil Hanova (School No. 40 in Yoloten etrap, Mary velayat) and Yhlas Annamenliev (School No. 2 in Balkan velayat). Third place was shared by Ayshat Ishangulyeva, Myrat Meretdurdyev, and Shatlyk Guvandzhov, students from Specialized School No. 12 with Advanced Studies in Exact and Natural Sciences in Shatlyk, Mary velayat.

    In physics, first place was awarded to Bahargul Gurbannazarova, a student from School No. 31 in Gumdag, Balkan velayat. Second place went to Nurana Narmuhammedova and Aygozel Jepbargulyeva (School No. 45 with in-depth study of English and sciences in Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat). Third place went to Kakageldi Sohbedov and Ovezgeldi Gadamov (School No. 18 in Serakhs etrap, Ahal velayat), and Leyli Batyrova (School No. 24 for Gifted Children in Mary, Mary velayat).

    Rustem Jumayev, a student at the Ashgabat Specialized Boarding School named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy, won first place in chemistry. Second place went to Dovlet Durdylyev (Specialized School No. 24 in Mary, Mary velayat) and Leyli Garlyeva (School No. 2 in Turkmengala etrap, Mary velayat). Third place went to Mahri Hojayeva (School No. 40 in Yoloten etrap, Mary velayat), Suleiman Annalyev (School No. 2 in Turkmengala etrap, Mary velayat), and Mahrijemal Berdiyeva (School No. 19 in Murgap etrap, Mary velayat).

    The best experts in modern computer technologies were: 1st place – Maksat Shajikov (school #37, Murgap etrap, Mary velayat); 2nd place – Yhlas Gurbanmuhammedov (school #24, Sakarchaga etrap, Mary velayat) and Atageldy Allaberenov (school #21, Dashoguz city, Dashoguz velayat); 3rd place – Kakageldi Hommadov (school #32, Sakarchaga etrap, Mary velayat), Berdimurat Akkyoshekov (school #132 with in-depth study of foreign languages, Ashgabat) and Abdulla Saparmuradov (school #65, Gorogly etrap, Dashoguz velayat).
