PSD is going to decide, during an emergency meeting of the National Political Bureau, on Monday, 2:00 p.m., whether to initiate a motion of censure against the Government led by Ilia Bolojanin the context of the political crisis triggered after the consultations at the Cotroceni Palace and the withdrawal of the social-democratic ministers from the Executive.
The social democrats will decide whether they will submit a motion of censure in the next period, most likely next week, or if they will wait for this motion of censure to be initiated by the opposition parties, it shows Antenna 3 CNN.
According to the cited source, there are currently two currents within the Social Democratic Party. One of those who want a motion as quickly as possible, if a solution to the political crisis is not reached.
The other current wants a deeper analysis of the situation in the Parliament, if a motion of censure initiated by the Social Democratic Party would have support from the Opposition MPs, because there is a risk that it will not be voted by all the Opposition MPs.
If the censure motion does not pass, then another cannot be initiated in this parliamentary session, which would lead to Ilie Bolojan remaining at the head of the Government until the autumn parliamentary session.
