
Today, Wednesday, in the state of Tissemsilt, Prime Minister Saifi Gharib supervised the launch of the “General Plastic Injection” (GPI) project for the production of plastic components and accessories for cars, as part of the working visit that led him to the state.
In a statement on the occasion, the Prime Minister explained that this project falls within the pledges of the President of the Republic, especially those related to the recovery and return of confiscated property through final judicial rulings, stressing that it represents an important step towards reviving the industrial fabric.
The same official indicated that the factory will give a new dynamism to the automotive industry in Algeria, thanks to its reliance on the latest techniques and technologies, as it will specialize in the production of various plastic accessories that enter this field in accordance with international standards.
He also highlighted that the project will contribute to giving an additional development impetus to the state of Tissemsilt, as a complement to the special development program approved by the President of the Republic for the benefit of the state.
At the conclusion of his statement, the Prime Minister congratulated the residents of the state on this industrial gain, noting that the factory will enter into actual production starting next September.
It is expected that during this visit, several agreements will be signed related to developing the automotive components and spare parts industry, enhancing industrial partnership, technology transfer, and supporting local integration.
The Prime Minister is accompanied during this visit by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Development, Saeed Saeed, and the Minister of Industry, Yahya Bashir, along with a number of economic dealers.
