After the President of the Republic opened the Council of Ministers meeting and announced the agenda, and then the Prime Minister presented the government’s activity in the last two weeks, the President extended his greetings and thanks for the efforts of the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Bank of Algeria in particular and all the executives and workers of the financial sector in general, to enable Algeria to exit the gray list of the Financial Action Task Force (GAFI). The President also recalled, on the occasion of this major achievement, that Algeria’s reputation has suffered greatly internationally, due to the financial and illegal violations that prevailed before 2019, stressing that this decision came as an international recognition that Algeria today has completely moved away from the era of money laundering and capital movement crimes, irreversibly.

The President of the Republic also ordered the Minister of Finance and Justice to work strictly and decisively to prevent any violations in financial transactions in the future and to ensure transparency, especially with all the economic, financial and judicial reforms that Algeria has undertaken since the election of the President of the Republic in 2019, and his commitment to supporting Algeria’s reputation internationally, at all levels.

The President expressed the Algerian nation’s pride and pride in their competencies wherever they are across the world, and committed to opening the door of freedom wide to them, to contribute, alongside their counterparts at home, to developing Algeria further and catapulting it to the ranks of developed countries.

Creation of a national antiquities agency:

It is necessary to revitalize the research and exploration of Algerian scientists and researchers in antiquities, and liberate them scientifically to exit once and for all from the stage of being satisfied with the discovered antiquities and continuing excavations to discover more antiquities related to the various historical eras of humanity in Algeria.
