The ministry wrote in a press release that in this conversation, the development of political relations, economic interactions, trade, investment and joint projects between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan was discussed.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country has expressed Afghanistan’s readiness to implement the existing understandings between the two countries and to establish new cooperation and said that the relevant institutions support all-round cooperation for the implementation of joint projects and the development of economic and trade relations.
In addition, they discussed the visit of high-level delegations, regular political interaction and further strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi called the appointment of Kyrgyzstan as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council an important achievement and in this framework, he spoke about the importance of joint cooperation and mutual support between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Both sides have emphasized on the further development of relations between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan and the continuation of the implementation of existing understandings.
