A new era has been born “in the history of the oldest professional sports circuit in Mexico”, with the alliance that closed the Mexican Baseball League and Banorte.
At an event, organized in Mexico City, the “important” news about the birth of the Liga Fuerte de México was revealed.
From this moment on, The LMB will “walk hand in hand” with the Financial Group for the next five years.
“United we are stronger. Today we consolidate a new era with Banorte as the Banorte Mexican Baseball League,” announced the largest and most relevant baseball circuit in Latin America.
For his part, the president of the LMB, Horacio de la Vega, valued the commercial agreement that was signed and that it will serve for growth.
“This is one of the most important steps that have been taken, not only in my management, but in the 101 years of history of the League,” he said.
It should be noted that this is the first time that the Mexican Baseball League will have a brand in its name; Therefore, this announcement was so important.
The naming right “marks the beginning of a structural transformation” in the LMB, since it will promote “modernization and the experience in stadiums”, so fans will also benefit.
For Banco Fuerte de México, this agreement is part of the intention that has to promote national sport; This was stated by its general director.
“Banorte has chosen to participate in the spaces where millions of Mexican men and women share emotion, pride and a sense of belonging. Our alliance with the Mexican Baseball League reflects that conviction and strengthens our commitment to Mexico through sport,” shared Marcos Ramírez.
