The Kuwaiti Council of Ministers expressed the condolences of the State of Kuwait and its sympathy with the State of Qatar over the martyrdom of a Qatari citizen and the injury of a resident as a result of being hit by shrapnel resulting from the military operations that the region witnessed recently.
The Kuwaiti Council of Ministers extended the sincere condolences of the State of Kuwait and extended its sincere sympathy to the leadership, government and people of the State of Qatar and to the family of the martyr, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
This came during the Kuwaiti Cabinet meeting today, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister.
On the other hand, the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers expressed its condemnation and denunciation, in the strongest terms, of the repeated sinful Iranian attacks on the State of Kuwait, the most recent of which occurred at dawn last Sunday, in a blatant violation of its sovereignty and a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents of its lands, and a clear violation of the rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
The Council affirmed that the continuation of these blatant attacks at a time when regional and international efforts aimed at calm are underway constitute an undermining of the efforts aimed at reducing the escalation in the region and represent a direct challenge to the international will supporting this path, reiterating that the State of Kuwait reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to preserve its sovereignty, preserve its security and stability, and protect its people and those residing on its lands.
