    Major General Tariq Rashid conducted Governor of Sohag, A surprise field tour of the center and city of Saqalta, accompanied by Dr. Kamal Suleiman, Deputy Governor, Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din Abdel Ghaffar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sohag Water and Sanitation Company, Sherif El-Sayed, Head of Saqalta Centers, and a number of heads of government departments, where a customer service center was inspected. Drinking water and sanitation In Saqalta and sewage lifting station No. (1) to ensure the regularity of work progress and the level of services provided to citizens.

    Check the customer service center

    During his inspection of the customer service center, the Governor of Sohag reviewed the requests submitted by citizens to learn how serious the company is in dealing with these requests and the quality of the services provided. The Governor of Sohag praised the company’s experience in using the advanced digital transformation systems used in customer service centers and the extent of commitment to time periods in providing services to citizens.


    Customer center services

    The head of Sohag Water explained that customer service centers provide more than 49 services for drinking water and sanitation, including connecting a water meter, paying bills, inquiring and charging a prepaid meter, contracting for meters, receiving complaints and selling supplied parts, and that all citizen services are completed within the time frames specified for each service, with the services being provided easily and smoothly.

    The tour also included an inspection of the Lifting Substation No. (1) in Saqalta, which serves 20,000 people. Laboratory analyzes were also conducted of drinking water samples from the Farasiya Youth Center to ensure that the drinking water conforms to the standard specifications for water quality.
