Martyr Al-Hafiz, June 21, 2026 (SPS) – Today, Sunday, the National Council of the Union of Sakia El Hamra and Wadi Ed-Dahab Workers held its regular session, headed by the Secretary-General of the Union, Mr. Nafi Ahmed Mohamed.
After observing a minute of silence in mercy for the martyrs of the national cause, the meeting began with a speech by the Secretary-General of the organization, in which he recalled the current circumstances and situation in which the meeting was being held, and the mobilization required of the Sahrawi workers group to confront the challenges and strengthen the elements of steadfastness.

The regular session of the Council discusses a comprehensive evaluation of the second semester of the year, where the outcome of the activities and programs implemented during the period under evaluation is examined, in addition to evaluating the level of implementation of decisions and recommendations issued by the leadership bodies of the Union.
The session listened to a presentation by the Structures and Systems Committee, which addressed the reality of organizational structures and the prospects for their development, in addition to discussing a number of proposals related to the newly developed structures, which contribute to improving organizational performance and enhancing the effectiveness of union work.
The session concluded with a set of recommendations and decisions aimed at strengthening organizational work and developing the union’s performance in a way that responds to the requirements of the current stage. (SPA)
