While Partizan is fighting a tough battle for the ABA league cup, the club is thinking a lot about the next season. The “Black and Whites” have successfully completed negotiations with the captain of Budućnosti, Nikola Tanasković, and it has been agreed that after two and a half years, the wing center will leave Podgorica and return to the ranks of the current ABA league champion.
According to the Montenegrin media, during the very successful recently ended season in Budućnost, Tanasković conducted negotiations with Partizan, the club where he started his professional basketball career in 2016.
He was officially among the black and whites until 2019, although during that time he played for Spartak, Zemun Mladost and OKK Belgrade, and then he was a member of Igokea, on several occasions, Borca from Banjaluka, briefly and Breogan, before he arrived in the ranks of Budućnost in December 2023.
Excellent games in the jersey of the Podgorica club led him to the title of captain, and then he received an invitation to the senior national team of Serbia.
With Podgorica, he won two Montenegrin Cup titles, was national champion three times, the last time a few days ago, and last season he played in the final of the ABA League. This season, he particularly stood out in the Eurocup, where he recorded 12.1 points and 5.3 rebounds on average.
