M. Sadauskas’ father, Laimis Sadauskas, revealed to TV3 news what he saw with his own eyes and what was written in the death certificate.
“I saw my son, I saw a gunshot wound on his forehead and it was written in the death certificate that he died from a penetrating shot, but I don’t have a detailed description yet,” L. Sadauskas told tv3.lt.
He also confirmed the previously published information that Mr. Sadauskas, who was summoned to the trap by a false call, was tortured.
The body of M. Sadauskas, who worked as a paramedic, was found on Tuesday evening, more than a day after he went to a homestead in the Panevėžys district for work, and his relatives missed him. The body was found exactly on the territory of this homestead – it was wrapped in a trampoline and buried. Attempts were made to burn the remains of the trampoline.
A weapon was also found at the scene – whether it was used to commit a terrible crime, experts should find out a little later.
On Tuesday, a car believed to belong to the murdered paramedic was discovered in the forest. His ex-wife, fitness champion J. Gaigalaitė, was among the suspects in the murder of M. Sadauskas. The former couple raised two children – twins. The relatives of the deceased said that they suspected the former daughter-in-law in various incidents – for example, the burning of family cars – before.
After the search for a paramedic was announced, the man’s relatives assured the journalists that they have no doubt that J. Gaigalaitė will definitely have a hand in the disappearance of their son. The hunch seems to have been confirmed.

Another suspect is most likely J. Gaigalaitė’s new roommate. 31-year-old M. Sadauskas, who was engaged in renting trampolines in his free time from work, was allegedly lured into a trap on Monday morning: he received a message on Facebook that he allegedly urgently needed a trampoline in the vicinity of the village of Paliukai (Panevėžys district), where a kindergarten celebration would take place. However, there was neither a holiday nor a kindergarten in general in these areas, and soon the “customer” form was removed.
The search for the missing M. Sadauskas took some time, but eventually led to a homestead located in the village of Mileškūnai in Panevėžys district. The man was found dead on Tuesday evening. Panevėžys County Police Commissioner Darius Pliavga indicated that the body was hidden in the homestead. According to preliminary data, the heinous crime was committed due to personal disagreements.
All three arrested in the Panevėžys court: the faces of all the people suspected of the brutal murder of the paramedic were recorded
The couple is known to have had conflicts over financial aspects and custody of the children, as the two children of the ex-spouses had to live with their father by court decision.
Support is being collected for the family of the killer, the funeral is planned for the weekend.
