The General Administration for the Protection of Morals in the Specialized Police Sector was able to uncover the circumstances of the activity of a content maker who published indecent videos on social media sites, in an attempt to increase viewership rates and achieve financial profits.
The administration monitored the circulation of video clips on one of the pages that included the accused dancing in a way that is contrary to societal values.
After codifying the procedures, the accused was arrested at Al-Ahram Police Department in Giza Governorate, and 3 mobile phones were found in her possession, and upon examination it was found that they contained evidence confirming her activity.
When confronted, she admitted that she had published these clips with the aim of increasing viewership rates and achieving financial profits, and the necessary legal measures were taken regarding the incident and referred to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
