
According to information from the Press Office of the Economic Assistance of the Prime Minister’s Office to Bakhtar Agency; 66 drafts of internal standards were presented to the meeting by the Standards and Quality Authority for discussion. After the discussion, 36 standards and 30 testing methods were approved. These standards and testing methods are related to agricultural products, food, medicine, textile, chemical and plastic, telecommunications and electricity, mining, construction materials, environmental protection and many other fields.
The meeting also discussed the issue of determining the ownership of coal unloading, loading, processing and packaging centers in Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces. In this regard, the Ministry of Finance is responsible for its related affairs in customs.
At the end of the meeting, reports on a number of follow-up topics were also presented, regarding which necessary instructions were given to the relevant institutions.
These decisions have been sent to the office of His Highness Amirul Momineen for final decision.
