Alliance: Fake profiles on Facebook are calling for the murder of Ramush and Daut Haradinaj, the evidence has been handed over to the Police

The spokesman of the Alliance, Kushtrim Xhemaili, has reacted to a campaign organized on social networks, which, according to him, has escalated to open threats against Ramush Haradinaj and Daut Haradinaj.
Xhemaili said that dozens of fake profiles are systematically spreading slander and false information, which the Alliance has officially denied from the beginning.
He has set up a profile with the fictitious name “Besmir Kelmendi”, which uses Avni Rrustemi’s photo and calls himself “Avni Rrustemi 2.0”. According to Xhemail, this profile, during the last two days, has conducted a propaganda campaign with public calls for the murder of Ramush Haradinaj and Daut Haradinaj.
“This profile is intentionally trying to connect the name of the Haradinaj family with the tragic case in Peja, using quotes and false claims of the people involved in that event, with the aim of promoting self-judgment and fratricidal acts”, Xhemaili stated.
Xhemaili has announced that they have submitted to the Kosovo Police and the justice bodies all the data and evidence for this profile and other related accounts.
“We will follow the legal path to the end for each individual who hides behind these profiles and who produces or distributes such terrorizing messages,” he said.
The spokesman of the Alliance has also criticized the statements of the deputies of the ruling party, which, according to him, are giving support to this campaign of lynching and online threats.
He described this as an attempt to shift the attention of public opinion from the failure of the institutions to prevent the tragic incident in Peja.
“Human tragedies cannot and will not be allowed to be misused for political war or to incite violence. The authors of these threats and their political instigators will soon face the force of law and justice”, concluded Xhemaili.
