SAN MARINO – The Cinema Teatro Concordia in Borgo Maggiore will host the special screening of “The Colors of the Storm” on Thursday 24 September at 9pm, a film directed by Roberto Dordit and dedicated to the figure of Pasquale Rotondithe young superintendent of the Marche who during the Second World War contributed to saving thousands of Italian works of art.
The film has a direct link with the Republic of San Marino, chosen among the territories involved in the filming. The initiative is part of the process launched by the Secretariat of State for Tourism to develop film tourism and promote Titano as a location for cinematographic and audiovisual productions.
The film, produced by QualityFilm in collaboration with Rai Cinema and in co-production with Staragara, will be preceded by a presentation with speeches by the art historian Roberta Aliventi and the director Roberto Dorditwhich will delve deeper into the historical story told by the film. He will also intervene Fabrizio Raggiformer head of Film Tourism of the Republic of San Marino and curator of the organization of the event.
Entry to the screening on September 24th will be free. “The colors of the storm” will also remain in programming at the Cinema Teatro Concordia for the following two days, with regular paid admission.
The Cultural Institutes of the Republic of San Marino and the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture collaborate in organizing the evening.
