According to Jam Jam Online, in a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Japan, Ms. Sanae Takaichi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Mezikian, while appreciating the medical and humanitarian assistance of the Japanese government to Iran, emphasized the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve issues and tensions in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.

Referring to Iran’s responsible approach in international interactions, the President said: The Islamic Republic of Iran has always considered diplomacy to be the most effective way to solve existing problems, but unfortunately, some parties, including the United States, have challenged diplomatic processes by reneging on their commitments and destabilizing actions of the Zionist regime.

Referring to the developments in the region, the repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon, the continued displacement of Lebanese citizens, and the American political and military support for the actions of the Zionist regime are alarming, and called for the international community to play an effective role in stopping this process.

In another part of this conversation, the president emphasized the importance of security and freedom of navigation in international waterways and stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to facilitate maritime traffic. The main problem is caused by the restrictions and obstacles imposed by the United States against Iran’s shipping and trade.

Saying that Tehran will seriously follow up the issue of ships related to Japan, the doctors noted: We will try to ensure the passage of Japanese ships without problems and more easily.

The President also emphasized: The Islamic Republic of Iran will take every action in its power to normalize the sea traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and maintain the stability and security of this strategic passage, and hopes that with the return of normal conditions, the field of using the technical and engineering capabilities of Japan in the reconstruction and development projects of Iran’s damaged refineries, ports and economic infrastructure will be provided more than before.

The doctors further requested the assistance of the Japanese government to facilitate the exploitation of Iran’s financial resources and assets in Japan in order to provide basic goods, medical equipment and medicine.

Ms. Sanae Takaichi, the Prime Minister of Japan, in this telephone conversation, emphasized her country’s support for diplomatic solutions, and expressed her hope that the relations between Tehran and Tokyo will expand further in various fields.

Referring to his consultations with the Americans, the Prime Minister of Japan also emphasized the necessity of continuing the path of diplomacy and dialogue to reduce tensions and resolve differences.

While appreciating the cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in securing sea routes, Sanae Takaichi appreciated the successful passage of Japanese ships through the Strait of Hormuz and expressed hope that conditions will be created so that all ships can pass through this strategic route with greater speed, security and ease.
