Two teenagers were arrested and a stolen car recovered following a robbery at gunpoint in Sangre Grande on Thursday.
Around 11.30 am on September 3, officers on mobile patrol received a report that a white Nissan AD Wagon had been stolen at gunpoint in the Sangre Grande district.
Acting on intelligence, the officers went to Lisa Morris Julian Boulevard, Arima, where they intercepted the vehicle.
Two suspects, a 19-year-old from Febeau Village, San Juan, and a 17-year-old from Quarry Road, San Juan, were arrested.
The teenagers were taken into custody and the car was towed with the assistance of the Northern Division Task Force.
Investigations are continuing.
