The police responded to two violent crimes on Friday, in each of which one person was stabbed. In both cases, the suspected perpetrators were arrested.
Person seriously injured after knife attack in Ettelbruck
As the police announced in the bulletin on Saturday morning, they were informed of a knife attack on Rue Dr Herr in Ettelbruck on Friday evening around 5:30 p.m. One person was seriously injured by knife wounds.
The police officers were able to catch the alleged perpetrator a short time later in a nearby side street. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, the officers arrested the suspect. He was taken to the “Uerschterhaff” remand prison. He is scheduled to be brought before an examining magistrate on Saturday afternoon.
Family dispute in Bilsdorf escalates
A family dispute in Bilsdorf was reported to the police in the afternoon on the same day. According to current findings, one person is said to have been injured with a knife by his partner. The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
