In Luxembourg, May 1st is not only marked by the labor movement, but also by an old tradition: the “Meekranz”. In addition to the maypole, the wreath is part of a variety of May customs that date back to pre-Christian times and are associated with the blossoming of nature. And of course there is an opportunity to fire up the grill and drink together. But what should you pay attention to when walking into the forest and choosing leaves?
