In light of the nationwide general strike in Portugal announced last week, Luxair has adjusted its flight planning for Wednesday, June 3rd. The airline reported this in a press release on Tuesday.
Accordingly, the airline is postponing four Portugal flights from Wednesday to Thursday, June 4th. The connections affected are LG 3751 from Luxembourg to Lisbon, LG 3752 from Lisbon to Luxembourg, LG 3769 from Luxembourg to Porto and LG 3770 from Porto to Luxembourg. Luxair will inform the affected passengers directly and automatically rebook them on the new flights.
Faro and Funchal are served
The connections to Faro and Funchal, however, should take place on Wednesday as planned. The flights affected are LG 785 and LG 786 between Luxembourg and Faro and LG 771 and LG 772 between Luxembourg and Funchal. However, the airline still expects delays and longer waiting times at the affected airports. If the situation changes, it will inform affected passengers directly.
Luxair recommends travelers arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure. They should also check current information about their flight before heading to the airport. (read)
