The Government counts 35,908 applications submitted for support for the housing recovery own and permanent property that were damaged as a result of storms from the beginning of the year. Of these, 6112 were approved by the Regional Coordination and Development Commissions (CCDR) of the Center and Lisbon and Vale do Tejo — 17% of the total —, which does not mean that all beneficiaries received the money. Support was paid in 5028 cases, with 1084 approved support still unpaid, all in the central region. 3189 applications were also rejected, equivalent to around 9% of the total applications submitted.
