The Hebrew newspaper Ma’ariv warned that Benjamin Netanyahu may eventually be pushed in the direction of forcing the Americans to force Israel to withdraw from Lebanon without receiving any concessions.
The Hebrew newspaper “Ma’ariv” warned against the change in the balance of power in West Asia and the weakening of the regional position of the occupying regime.
Referring to the developments of the last week, this newspaper emphasized that the balance of power in West Asia has undergone a strategic change.
Claiming that Israel was considered the most powerful actor in the region before, Ma’ariv claimed that this regime has now lost its ability to influence and draw a strategic map in West Asia.
This report states that the “Memorandum of Understanding between America and Iran” has practically made Tehran the most powerful and influential actor in the region.
This newspaper also pointed to the failure of the American military power to guarantee the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and wrote that Iran has succeeded in shutting down an international waterway and has practically had the upper hand in this challenge.
Ma’ariv considered the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the occupying regime, as the main cause of some of these failures. According to the report, Netanyahu created unrealistic expectations by convincing Trump that the “overthrow of the Iranian regime is within reach”, and by failing to achieve this goal, other achievements of the war were also overshadowed and effectively lost.
This Zionist media predicted that Netanyahu will try to exploit the high potential of the explosion on the Lebanese front in order to defeat the negotiations; An action that can lead to an increase in the losses of the Israeli army and intensification of insecurity in the northern front.
The report warned that this approach could eventually push Netanyahu to push the Americans to force Israel to withdraw from Lebanon without any concessions.
At the end of his report, Maariv wrote in a pessimistic tone about the future: “After the defeat in this war, it is unlikely that any American side will dare to confront Iran in the future; “We are completely alone in this battle.”
