There’s something wild in the air, the old advertising slogan is applicable to Thursday night when two indoor soccer tournaments ended in incidents. For the one in Brdi in Split, one person is in the detention unit due to a fractured skull, a 34-year-old who is being treated in a hospital in Split.
No one has sought medical help for the one in Solin, for now, but the police have operational knowledge and are conducting a criminal investigation. It is no wonder that they have information because it is circulating in the form of a video that has reached us.
On it we see a group of young men chasing after a male person. We don’t know the context, but does it really matter when more than 20 of them attack one…
A man with a beard is holding with both hands what appears to be a piece of dark blue clothing, perhaps a jersey, and is running across the field. Someone from the audience shouts: “Oh my God!”.
While the man is running away and climbing over the stands, they shoot him with pyrotechnic missiles, and when he reaches the fence, he is overtaken by a larger chase. Only for a fraction of a second can they be seen attacking him, but then the video stops.
– We have information that there was a violation of public order and peace, no one sought medical help – it was confirmed to us by the police, which is investigating the event.
If any more footage appears, it will make their job easier. Maybe someone recognizes the participants of the event, and agrees to a debriefing interview.
