For some time now, the public has been focusing on forecast cards for Labor Day (and the extended weekend), everyone is interested in whether it was worthwhile to arrive a little early and take a good position in nature for a barbecue, or we are waiting for improvisation in a closed space, on the trail of which were some forecasts that were placed in the public space in the last few days, and they, it will turn out, were not precise…
Let’s start right away with the first day of May, the Labor Day will be marked by excellent weather conditions that we will be able to thank to a strong anticyclone that will “anchor” over the area of Central Europe.
The air temperatures we had today should not be expected, since on the eve of the holiday significantly fresher air will flow from the east into the higher layers of the atmosphere, which will also affect the values of air temperatures in the ground layer.
Be alert!
In translation, we will not need sunscreen for outdoor activities on Labor Day, because the maximum air temperature in Dalmatia on the first day of May along the coast should not exceed 20 degrees Celsius.
Let’s also note that the morning will be fresh, even chilly in the interior of Dalmatia, so dress a little warmer in the morning. Weather conditions, just as you wished, mostly sunny, almost clear weather!

The wind forecast for the Labor Day celebration calls for extreme caution! Be very careful with fire and handling outdoor grills, especially near forest stands!
More serious rain has not fallen for some time, and new precipitation is not expected for the whole week, so, especially considering the storm, the forest fire danger index will certainly be increased.
Although the fire season has not officially started yet, statistics show that most fires of the year occur right around this period, which is an additional call to caution, because just a moment of inattention is enough to cause a forest fire and an ecological disaster.
Let’s not forget, each of us is responsible for preserving the rich (and priceless) forest ecosystems of “Ljepe Naše”, and one of the best ways to achieve this is to be careful…
