Recently, everyone is looking for recipes that help in losing weight, but that do not take away the pleasure of food. It’s even better when you come across something simple and filling that doesn’t involve complicated ingredients, because few people have time to spend hours in the kitchen and spend a fortune on expensive ingredients.
That’s why this time we present you a dish that everyone loves, and that meets all these requirements. These are pancakes, but low-calorie and lighter than regular ones, and you probably have the ingredients at home. These are protein pancakes with yogurt and honey, ideal for anyone who pays special attention to a balanced diet.
Instead of white flour, oat flour is used, which will give you more energy. Egg and yogurt will fill you up well, and honey will sweeten it. It is far healthier than nutella and marmalade, which are usually used to sweeten pancakes, but do not overdo it if you are on a diet. Although it has antibacterial properties, if you use it in large quantities, honey will not help you lose weight.
Protein pancakes with honey
Ingredients
40 g oat flour
100 g of yogurt
50 ml of almond milk
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of honey
a little cooking oil
a pinch of salt
Preparation
Mix the egg, oatmeal, almond milk, yogurt and baking powder until you get a smooth mixture. If desired, add a pinch of salt for a better taste. Heat the pan and lightly coat it with oil. It would be best to use coconut oil, but if you don’t have it, feel free to use sunflower oil or another neutral oil you have at home. Bake smaller pancakes for a few minutes on each side until they get a nice color. Serve them and drizzle with a little honey.
