The Tax Agency had to send a new annual statement for Suila carpets today, Thursday, but now they have found further errors, so the citizens have to wait at least a week to find out whether they have to repay or have money to their credit.

7,161 citizens got the 20 August message in e-Boks aboutthat they have to repay money because they have been paid too much in Suila-tapit.
But that one On 2 September, the Tax Agency announcedthat errors had been found in the Suila carpet calculations. Therefore, the Tax Agency had to review the annual statements for around 22,000 citizens.
The review was due to be completed today, September 10. The plan was for citizens to be informed about whether they have to repay money or have money to their credit.
But it won’t be like that.
The Tax Agency has found yet another error in the calculations, and therefore the sending of the new annual statements is being postponed again.
Must wait at least a week
The new error was found just today, when the new annual statements were due to be sent out according to plan.
According to the Danish Tax Agency, the error concerns pension data, which in some cases has been registered by both the employer and the pension company. This means that the information may be registered twice.
– We are still in the process of clarifying work to find out how many are affected by the error. But so that we don’t send out incorrect annual statements again, we only send them when we have the error under control, says communications manager at the Tax Agency Søren Würtz to Sermitsiaq.
Thousands of citizens must therefore once again arm themselves with patience.
– My best bet is that at least a week will pass before we send them, says Søren Würtz.
