The police killed several bandits and seized six assault rifles during an intervention on Monday 1er June 2026, in Village de Dieu, in downtown Port-au-Prince, informs the Haitian National Police (PNH). This intervention was carried out after two weeks of intensive operations in the area, specifies the PNH, announcing the continuation, this Tuesday, of its operations in this district which was inaccessible to the police for five years.
