Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen’s outfits were also revealed.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest is less than two weeks away, and the competing artists have already held their first rehearsals.
Finland’s representatives at ESC 26, violinist Linda Lampenius and singer Pete Parkkonen, took to the stage for the first time on Saturday. The contest is being held at held at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria later this month.
According to international betting houses, Lampenius and Parkkonen’s song “Liekinheitin” (“Flamethrower”) has the best odds to win the contest. The duo’s performance of the song at the national competition UMK can be seen here.

Lampenius and Parkkonen’s costumes for the event were also on display on Saturday.
Fashion designer Teemu Muurimäki designed the outfits. Parkkonen’s costume was created by dressmaker Elviira Medel, while Lampenius’ outfit was created by Yle seamstress Jaana Björklund.
Yle will broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 on TV1 and on Yle Areena. Finland will compete in the first semi-final on 12 May, while the second semi-final will be held on 14 May. The contest final will be held on Saturday 16 May.
