Shaheed El-Hafed, April 16, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, warned of the dangers of the expansionist and aggressive approach of the Moroccan occupying State, cautioning about its impact on the region as a whole.
In his speech during the opening of the 9th ordinary session of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali warned of the risks posed by this expansionist and aggressive policy, noting that the Moroccan occupying State has openly allied with colonial and Zionist powers to advance their plans and agendas in the region and Africa.
Mr. Brahim Ghali condemned what he described as the systematic and intensive spread of drugs by the Kingdom of Morocco—identified as the world’s largest producer and exporter of cannabis—including its use in the formation, support, and encouragement of transnational organized crime networks and terrorist groups in the region and globally.
He also expressed full satisfaction with the level of cooperation, coordination, and consultation between the Sahrawi Republic and neighboring countries, especially the sister nations of Algeria and Mauritania, calling for further strengthening and development of this cooperation in the service of peace, security, stability, and the interests and aspirations of the peoples of the region.
