Businessman Samir Mane appeared this Wednesday at the Special Prosecutor’s Office, where he was questioned as part of the investigation into the “Balluku” file. Mane arrived at the premises of SPAK around 18:10, i.e. outside the official appearance schedule, and stayed for about two hours at the Special Prosecutor’s Office.
The appearance at this time raises questions about the way the interrogation was coordinated, while it remains to be verified if the choice of the time was part of an agreement between SPAK and the businessman to avoid the presence and cameras of the media.
The call of Manes to SPAK comes after the interrogation of the Eftimi brothers and shows the expansion of the circle of persons that the Special Prosecutor’s Office is interrogating for the case of the villa, which the investigators suspect is related to Belinda Balluku.
SPAK is investigating how the facility was ordered, designed, financed and finalized, in the context of suspicions of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
Until this stage, it is a matter of suspicions of the Special Prosecutor’s Office and not of final judicial conclusions.
