According to Azerbaijani media, this was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk at the 24th session of the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental commission, which is being held in Kovsakan (Zangilan).
“We encourage Russian business to actively participate in the projects implemented here. In particular, the created favorable investment environment opens wide opportunities for such cooperation,” he noted. Overchuk also informed that important contacts have been established within the framework of cooperation between the cities of Jabrayl and St. Petersburg. “In the framework of interregional cooperation, kindergartens are being built in the villages of Zangilani region with the funds of Astrakhan region.”
It should also be noted that according to the results of the 24th session of the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation held in Kovsakan, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Alexey Overchuk signed a protocol.
