Yesterday, Monday, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Razik, discussed with cement producers the prospects for expanding the presence of Algerian cement in international markets, during a meeting devoted to evaluating the outcome of export operations during the first semester of 2026, according to a statement by the ministry..
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry’s headquarters, falls within the framework of periodically monitoring the performance of various divisions with export capabilities, and accompanying economic operators in expanding the presence of Algerian products in foreign markets.
Raziq stressed the need to strengthen the presence of the national product in the markets of African countries, explaining that the African continent is one of the promising markets, given the competitive advantages enjoyed by the Cement Division, especially in terms of product quality and production capabilities.
The minister also called for expanding the external presence of the national cement product and opening new export destinations, especially in Asia, America and the Caribbean countries, in a way that enhances the spread of the Algerian product and opens new paths for national exports, according to the same source.
