Prime Minister Rama has reacted on social networks regarding the protest held in the Zvërnec area, mocking the protesters and calling for the protection of the environment.
Through a post on Facebook, Rama addressed the “revolutionaries” with irony, asking them that the next time they go to that coast to protest in defense of the flamingos, they should not enter the beach with vehicles and not pollute the area.
“GOOD MORNING ???? and with a humble prayer to the revolutionaries, that the next time they go to that beach to mourn the plight of the flamingos, don’t make them cry by desecrating the beach with their cars – because the desert birds will remember that the construction of the parking lot started there, they will make their escape as they did before the 10-year moratorium on hunting – if they leave their wheels on the highway and to walk like flamingos to the edge of the sea without being scared by the dirt, but preferably without adding them like yesterday who had left beer cans behind, I wish you all a peaceful Sunday????”, writes Rama in his post.
The reaction comes at a time when the debate about the project in Zvrnec and the protests against it continue to cause strong political and public clashes.
