Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani explained, in a speech during the meeting, that the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran this week represents an achievement that the mediators have worked to achieve over many months, and constitutes an important milestone, expressing his hope that it will be a turning point that moves us away from escalation and confrontation, and leads us towards stability and self-control, and creating a safer environment for all the peoples of the region, praising at the same time US President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, for their demonstrated efforts.
