In an interview at the World Trade Center within the framework of the registration of aspiring candidates, the former president maintained that Julieta will only give continuity to the current government of Baja California.
“If they beat us in the polls, we will accept it, as long as it is not the senator,” he said.
He explained that in addition to Morena, the PT will do its own surveys and they will analyze them together with the guinda party to make a decision. These surveys, he pointed out, will begin to be carried out in the month of October.
Bonilla supported the former mayor of Tijuana, Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, who the day before formalized her registration this Monday as an applicant for the Coordination of the Defense of Transformation and Sovereignty in Baja California, an internal process led by Morena towards the definition of profiles that will participate in the 2027 election.
