The president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo reported that after his meeting with the king Philip VI from Spain They agreed to strengthen the bilateral relationship “for the benefit of our nations.”
Through her social networks, Sheinbaum Pardo shared that the meeting was “cordial” and they talked about the importance of indigenous peoples.
“At the National Palace, we had a cordial meeting with the King of Spain, Felipe VI. We talked about the importance of indigenous peoples throughout history and the links between Mexico and Spain,” he said.
“We agree to strengthen the bilateral relationship for the benefit of our nations,” he added.
José Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, accompanied the king and said that both nations are united by “deep cultural, historical, economic and, above all, human ties.”
“We continue to strengthen our relationships of brotherhood and cooperation, projecting our Ibero-American voice and promoting a future of shared prosperity,” he said.
