RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers the burning of the Turkish flag by the participants of the torch march organized by the ARF in Yerevan on the eve of the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, on April 23, as clearly provocative and tension-inducing behavior.
About this “Armenpress”Nazeli Baghdasaryan, press secretary of the prime minister, said in response to the question.
– Mrs. Baghdasaryan, how does Prime Minister Pashinyan assess the fact that during the march with torches organized by the ARF, the participants burned the Turkish flag again?
– Prime Minister Pashinyan condemns such practice, evaluating it as irresponsible and unacceptable. The burning of the flag of an internationally recognized state, especially of a neighboring country, by the head of the state cannot be appreciated otherwise. This is clearly provocative and tension-inducing behavior.
